Bryce Eyton
President
With over 30 years of experience across nearly every facet of construction, Bryce Eyton brings deep expertise to his role as President of Capilano Builders. Known for clear, consistent communication with both clients and staff, Bryce’s leadership has earned him the NV Chamber of Commerce’s Business Person of the Year award, along with numerous industry honors for Capilano Builders. He draws inspiration from understanding how his clients live, work, and play—creating homes that truly support their lifestyles. Passionate about uncompromising quality, Bryce lives by a simple standard:

Chelsea Eyton
Vice President | Co-Owner
Chelsea has been with Capilano Builders since the very beginning—over 10 years—helping grow the company from a small renovation operation into what it is today. With more than 15 years in the residential construction and renovation industry, she leads the operational, financial, and people-focused side of the business that allows great work to happen on site.
Her specialty lies in building the structure behind the scenes: creating clear systems, supporting the right people, and working closely with her business partner to keep projects running smoothly. Chelsea thrives on problem-solving, especially untangling complex situations and finding practical, human solutions for both clients and the team.
She’s most proud of the culture Capilano Builders has built—one rooted in care, respect, and long-term relationships.
Outside of work, Chelsea is a mom who spends as much time as possible outdoors. She loves travelling, skiing, being in nature, and gardening, teaches part-time, coaches softball, and stays active in the community. And when there’s a quiet moment, you’ll likely find her listening to a hilarious podcast and having a good laugh.
Braden Lytle
Construction Manager
With 22 years in the construction industry and nearly 8 years at Capilano Builders, Braden brings both experience and leadership to every project. While he enjoys finish work when he’s belt-on, his current role leans into what he does best—client communication, organization, and keeping projects running smoothly.
Braden loves the renovation process itself: taking a space people already care about and transforming it into something they’ve always wanted. He’s especially proud of helping introduce Buildertrend and building the systems and processes the team relies on every day.
Outside of work, Braden is all about family time, staying active in the gym, and getting outdoors whenever he can.
Trevor Harrison
Operations Manager
With 19 years in the industry and 4 years at Capilano Builders, Trevor brings a steady hand and sharp financial mind to the team. His role ensures that projects stay on track behind the scenes, helping deliver a consistent product and an exceptional experience for every client.
What Trevor appreciates most about his work is the balance—the hours, the location, and, most of all, the great team he gets to work alongside every day. He’s proud of the systems that help create consistency and trust for clients from start to finish.
Outside of work, Trevor’s passions are clear: golf, being an Oilers fan, spending time with his wife and two daughters (ages 10 and 12)… and, of course, more golf.
Kourtneigh Simard
Lead Designer
With 9 years in the construction industry—all of them at Capilano Builders—Kourtneigh is a key part of the creative engine behind many of the homes the team builds. Her specialty is cabinet design, with a talent for creative use of space and smart storage solutions that bring a client’s dream concept to life.
She’s proud of everything she’s learned here, which makes it hard to choose just one highlight. From fun and funky kitchens to the many happy clients along the way, Kourtneigh takes pride in it all—and in being part of such a great team.
Outside of work, she loves being outdoors, cooking, practicing yoga, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
Scott Stirling
Site Manager & Carpenter
With 30 years in the construction industry and 11 years at Capilano Builders, Scott is a true veteran of the trade. His specialty is forming, where precision and experience make all the difference, and his steady presence on site reflects decades of hands-on knowledge.
What Scott enjoys most about the job? Sunglasses and sunshine—being out in the elements, getting real work done, and watching a project take shape from the ground up.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find him on the golf course, perfecting his swing and enjoying a well-earned day in the sun.
Mark Dilks
Site Manager & Carpenter
With 30 years in construction and 7 years at Capilano Builders, Mark is a seasoned carpenter who takes immense pride in his craft. He’s been part of countless projects, and for him, one of the best parts of the job is being part of a team that consistently delivers exceptional results for every client.
Mark is proud of every project he’s worked on here—each one a reflection of the care and quality the team brings to their work.
Outside of work, he loves spending time outdoors with his dog and enjoying life with family and friends.
Isaac Melles
Site Manager & Carpenter
With over 13 years in construction and almost 6 years at Capilano Builders, Isaac is deeply rooted in the world of renovations. He thrives in an environment where no two projects are the same and values the growth that comes both on and off site.
One of the things Isaac enjoys most is seeing how the same challenge can be approached in different ways—learning from others and refining his own craft along the way. It’s this mindset that helps keep projects thoughtful, adaptable, and well-executed.
Outside of work, Isaac spends his time with family and friends and stays active through sports.
Travis Monett
Site Manager & Carpenter
With 25 years in the construction industry and 2 years at Capilano Builders, Travis brings a rare blend of hands-on skill and big-picture thinking to every project. His background spans project management, general construction, detailed finishing, and even drafting, design, and structural detailing—giving him a deep understanding of the entire renovation process.
While he genuinely enjoys every part of the trade, what stands out most for Travis is seeing the satisfaction on a client’s face when a project comes together. He’s especially proud of leading full renovations from start to finish, having a hand in every phase along the way.
Outside of work, Travis is just as impressive—he’s a former Pro-Am motocross rider and a former state-level kickboxer, Muay Thai instructor and an avid hunter.
Aidan Cooper
Site Manager & Carpenter
Aidan is a carpenter with over 10 years of experience in custom residential construction, specializing in framing and concrete forming. He’s worked on high-end homes from the ground up, bringing a strong focus on quality workmanship, clear communication, and attention to detail on every project.
He takes pride in working closely with homeowners, builders, and designers to ensure each build is executed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Now based in North Vancouver, Aidan spends his time outside of work enjoying the local outdoors with his girlfriend and their dog, Moose—hiking, running, mountain biking, and snowboarding whenever possible. Their favourite escape is Norvan Falls, preferably when it’s not raining.
Steve Monett
Site Manager & Carpenter
With 37 years in the carpentry and joinery trades, Steve is Capilano Builders’ newest carpenter—and one of its most experienced. His specialties span fine carpentry, sales, and teaching, making him a valuable presence both on site and within the team.
What Steve enjoys most is problem-solving and achieving a truly high-quality finished product. He takes pride in everything he builds and is known for doing things the right way—never cutting corners.
Outside of work, Steve’s passion is motocross, where he channels the same focus and intensity he brings to his craft.
Shawn Townsend
Site Manager & Carpenter
With nearly a decade at Capilano Builders and 40 years in the construction industry, Shawn brings a wealth of experience and a calm, steady presence to every project. If there’s one area he’s known for, it’s finishing—where attention to detail and foresight make all the difference.
Shawn especially enjoys anticipating problems, catching them early, and resolving them before they ever become an issue. He’s proud to work for a company that values community outreach, including helping supply and build new accessibility stairs for a 92-year-old community member after she suffered a serious fall.
Outside of work, Shawn enjoys getting out on his bike and spending time cycling.
Nadia Teko
Carpenter’s Helper
With 8 years in construction and almost 6 years at Capilano Builders, Nadia plays a key role in bringing projects to life. As a carpenter helper—also proudly known as “Thee Associate”—she’s always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed.
Her favourite parts of the job are demo and finishing: ripping out the old and helping build something new in its place. Nadia is especially proud to learn alongside such a talented field team and loves being the person who can support everyone on site.
Outside of work, you’ll find her line dancing, cooking and baking, or spending time outdoors—no matter what the weather has in store.
Liam Carpenter
Carpenter’s Helper
Liam has been working in construction since 2011, with experience across Ireland, England, Australia, New Zealand, and now Canada. Currently completing Level 3 of his carpentry apprenticeship, he’s tackled everything from flooring and precast concrete to rigging and landscaping—but carpentry is where he feels most at home.
Liam loves framing, especially the way a space can take shape so quickly. What drives him most is learning—picking up new skills and ideas from the people he meets along the way.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find him in the mountains hiking, snowboarding, camping, or kayaking. And when he’s not outdoors, an Irish pub isn’t far behind, playing music and swapping stories with fellow expats.
James Lutes
Carpenter’s Helper & CSO
With nearly three years at Capilano Builders—and in the construction industry overall—James is a carpenter’s helper who brings energy, curiosity, and heart to everything he does. Alongside his work in the field, he’s also taken on health and safety responsibilities and lends a hand with online marketing, drawing on skills from a past life.
What James enjoys most is simply being part of the incredible builds the team creates. Having started later in life, he’s especially proud of how much he’s learned in a relatively short time and the growth he’s made along the way.
Outside of work, James loves woodworking, disc golf, and spending time with his beautiful wife and their two dogs.
